Hi! I’m Harry Soo, a Grand Champion pitmaster from in Diamond Bar, near Los Angeles. Welcome to my vlogs, BBQ product reviews, travel & lifestyle videos, BBQ contests, classes, as well as interviews and stories.

On weekdays, I’m an IT nerd living a Dilbertesque existence in a fabric covered cubicle in downtown LA. I’m the head tour guide for a team of IT project managers who build datacenters, networks, servers, and infrastructure that helps bring tap water to 300 cities and 20 million residents in SoCal.

On weekends, I come alive as a pitmaster, competitor, and BBQ instructor. You’ve seen me on BBQ Pitmasters, Food Network, Chopped Grill Masters, Smoked, Cutthroat Kitchen, and local TV in California. My shtick is I’ve used a humble 18-inch Weber Smokey Mountain smoker to win 100+ first places and 1st place USA in the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) awards including best chicken, brisket, and sirloin; and I’ve won over 27 Grand Championships. I’ve personally taught 200+ classes and trained 3,000+ pitmasters in small hands-on dozen student classes in the US, Sydney, London, Kuala Lumpur, Canada, and Hawaii.

I get many questions weekly about how to grill and barbecue. Since I started cooking professionally in 2008, I’ve answered thousands via email so I decided to post my answers via video to reach a wider audience. I’ll do my best to post a video on my channel periodically. I upload vlogs, BBQ product reviews, travel & lifestyle videos, BBQ contests, classes; as well as interviews and stories.

    Hey, Harry! Because of your videos I was able to smoke the best brisket anyone in my family has ever tasted! You're an absolute legend.

    I have one question, though: Have you made any videos on how to properly use a chimney smoker? I'm going to my dad's house soon and I was wanting to smoke some ribs and brisket while I'm out there, but he has one of those chimney smokers and I'm just not familiar with them. Any help appreciated!

    Quick question, is the back rib worth the money and time to smoke. I just thought they didn’t have enough meat to smoke and afraid to make jerky instead of ribs for dinner.

    Bought a Oklahoma joe bronco at walmart and seasoned it, yesterday first time ever hanging 3 racks of ribs an two chicken halves using mesquite lump charcoal, hickory, peacan and cherry wood, food was awesome with fat dripping in fire and flaming up, 4 hour cook time, have to clean today, on bottom unhook cap and wash grease and ash out the hole on bottom, replace cap, I like this so much better than my camp chef dlx model pellet grill

First lightly toast in this case the sprouted grains bread. Next pile on the basil pesto + grilled veggie medley of tomatoes + mushrooms + zucchini + spinach . Mozzarella cheese + chilli flakes for some heat next. A pat of butter on the grill pan and you’re ready to grill both sides to a golden brown .

BabyLondon is a documentary, which reveals an invisible side of society in London, a city where reality and illusion get muddled up.

Young immigrants from different countries, share ideas, beliefs and experiences which connects us with a universe full of questions which make us doubt the political and social system we live in.

The people who appear in the documentary explore an alternative lifestyle which puts them on the margins of the system, recycling food from dustbins, living in houses which have been abandoned by their owners and taking drugs as a way to explore.

In the course of the documentary these characters show us the nature of the world they inhabit, a world full of uncertainties, a context in which experimentation plays a primordial role in understanding the purpose of life.

These characters show us a hidden side of the London underground; a psychedelic London which coexists with the cultural discomfort prevailing in postmodern society.

The director has immersed himself in an urban subculture, developing an audio-visual experience, which portrays a fragment of the hidden alternative culture in London while at the same time revealing the cultural disenchantment that exists in postmodern society.
